& Podcaster's Package using their top notch U1600 Silver
Series USB Condenser microphone. The U1600 differs from
most USB mics now on the market in that instead of the inexpensive
electret mic capsule used in so many consumer grade mics, the U1600
uses a full size professional studio quality condenser microphone
capsule with full 32mm 24k gold sputtered diaphragm. This is the
same diaphragm used in the best high end studio mics and the
superior sound of this mic will convince you of the difference the
first time you plug it in.
To use this package you only have to plug the USB cable into your
computer or interface and that's it. You are ready to record. The
U1600 is compatible with all audio and video editing programs
including: Pro Tools, Logic, Cubase, Sonar, Reason, Serato, Final
Cut, Premier, After Effects and, of course, GarageBand.
